Uncoated & Coated Paper

Wind Direction: The Detail That Trips Up Every First-Time Order
If you're hand-applying labels, wind direction won't matter much. If you're running labels through an applicator, it's the one spec you can't guess at.
What it is. Wind direction describes how your labels are oriented as they come off the roll — which edge leads first, and whether the label faces out or in. Say it like "winding a clock," not the weather.
Rolls are either outside wound (the label faces out, so it's visible on the roll) or inside wound (the label faces in, so only the liner shows until you unwind it).
